Since September 11, 2001 he has been the Director of Tobacco Treatment for the Fire Department of the City of New York (FDNY) and may have treated more tobacco dependent individuals than anyone else in the United States. Since September 2001, FDNY tobacco prevalence has been reduced from 28% to less than 4 percent, with a biochemically confirmed quit rate of ~70% at 10-year follow-up. Our CEO is also on the editorial boards of the Journal of Smoking Cessation and the Journal of Medical Internet Research. Our Medical Director is a board-certified pulmonologist and critical care specialist with extensive experience treating the tobacco dependent. Our team also includes experts in computer vision, neural network architecture, mobile app development, marketing and business operations.
